Gorgeous spires of self seeded Delphiniums at the lovely Swinton Park estate in North Yorkshire, the walled garden has been allowed to run riot… these were shot on a hot day, and what should have been too sunny for photography turned out to be rather nice for these electric blue flowers…
Two beautiful days in North Devon, photographing the smart new ‘Garden Room’ for the R.H.S at Rosemoor. The new building will be available to hire for conferences, weddings and events. Its made using local stone, and sits beautifully in the fantastic surroundings.

Just returned from a lovely but freezing tramp around my friends garden in Bristol. Frosty weather is great for the garden photographer because it emphasises the shapes and structure of a well designed garden (not many are as well designed as this one!)
