Cork City, Ireland

Well I’ve had a great time shooting here in lovely Cork.  I’ve been doing a ‘short trip’ for Conde Nast Traveller magazine.  The people are friendly and helpful and one can’t help noticing how gentle the Irish seem (especially whilst watching England self destruct under the weight of rioting…)… there is a great market here (‘The English Market’), a sweet factory (‘The Toffee Works’), a very clean river, some unspoiled Georgian architecture and many beautiful churches… it’s also known for it’s inclement weather (not a great help to a photographer!).   Anyway, here is a shot of the river Lee with a fab sunset… bit predictable, but there you go…
