Food photography has changed so much over the last few years, and the emphasis now is on fresh ingredients shot in an unfussy and natural way.  Lighting should be minimal and unobtrusive and the food is simply prepared.  I photograph on location at hotels and restaurants, alongside the interiors and room shots that the clients often require.  It’s also nice to try and capture staff or owners in a natural and informal way.  I have written a couple of blog posts about recent Food Photography work…  I did a few days at Chateau Rigaud, with the very talented Steve Carrs, and have recently returned form a food shoot with the Tasty Ski Company, who specialise in gourmet ski accommodation…We recently shot at the venerable London ‘Naval Club‘ in Mayfair, and shot some of the lovely food and the amazing dining room.  Please contact me if you’d like to discuss food photography for your bar, restaurant or hotel publicity.
