Garden Stock Photography
It’s that time of year when I am adding as many garden images as I can (without going mad in front of a screen, the rain clattering at the window) to my stock libraries… I have been with GapPhotos for many years and although the stream of cash has slowed to a trickle, it can be useful income during the down time. The pressures of the internet, IPhone users, and the ever increasing ‘race to the bottom’ would stop me from starting this, if I had my time again, but with tens of thousands of images on sale with my agents, the income from them keeps me in bread and water ;-) And let’s face it, with the current weather outside, what else would I do?!
I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting gardens to photograph, especially seasonal (spring and autumn are popular), small gardens, town gardens and wildflower gardens.
