More Rolleiflex fun…

I have been using my downtime to get to grips with my Rolleiflex camera that I rescued recently from the loft (!) and shooting some lovely black and white Kodak Tri-X film. For those of you interested in the proceedure, I developed the film in the kitchen sink and then ‘scanned’ it by photographing the negatives with a digital camera (on a copy stand and using a macro lens)… these are some early results, shot at Stone Lane Gardens in Devon… I’m loving the creamy look of this old lens, and the film adds a warm vintage feel to the pics… I might even buy myself a good printer! any advice happily received. I’m very much looking forward to getting back to the grindstone and shooting some new gardens and interiors… do take a look at my Instagram account if you can… lots more imagery over there. Happy New Year all!
