Photo roundup and garden stock photography features, spring 2026

I have a few minutes spare and thought I’d roundup the garden side of things for the early part of this year. it’s been a long hard winter down here is what is supposed to be ‘sunny Devon’ (!). The rain has been biblical and the wind not much better. However, the spring appears to have arrived and I have managed to get out with camera in hand and capture the early bulbs and ‘signs of life’. In fact, looking at my garden, I would say that we are quite well advanced, considering, and I have even made headway with early weeding! Photographically, I had a lovely day with George and Rob (owner and gardener respectively) at Sidbury, for Country Life magazine, and am shortly on my way down to West Cornwall for the same publication. A last, some normality! At this time of year, the weather is always changeable, so my plans contsnatly change, but all in all I am sooooo glad to be back on the road. I have had enough of winter decorating at home!

Garden magazine editors please note, I have spent a fair bit of time uploading features to my website this winter, so please do take a look. There are either first or second rights available, and all four seasons are covered. Over time I will upload more, and if you are interested in using anything, let me know. Click here to be taken to the garden features, and thanks for looking.

And, as an afterthought, here is a lovely piece that The English Garden magazine used in february, shot last year at Ashwood Nurseries in the Midlands. Hellebores galore!, thanks to them and to the magazine.
